Verus Research is searching for a Electrical Engineering Intern to assist with system design and analysis in support of a number of advanced aerospace systems.
The Electrical Engineering Intern will perform a number of duties which may include system requirements development, system modeling, circuit layout, verification testing, and system status visualization. The intern may also apply similar tools and techniques to other research projects. The candidate is also expected to work collaboratively with teams of engineers and scientists to achieve successful project execution. This posting is for work in Albuquerque, NM and is intended to be a summer 2024 appointment only. Verus Research is prepared to pay for round-trip travel to and from Albuquerque and lodging expenses during your time in Albuquerque. The ideal candidate for the Electrical Engineering Intern role will possess a strong mix of design, analytical, and hands-on skills, as well as the ability to communicate complex ideas and provide innovative solutions. Success in this demanding position will stem from:
- U.S. Citizen
- Minimum of 2 years’ progress towards a bachelor’s degree in electrical or computer engineering or other relevant engineering discipline
- Experience with electrical circuits design and operation
- Familiarity with data collection, analysis, and presentation as well as electrical or mechanical fabrication techniques, RF circuits and testing desired
