Catherine Lambert is the Director of Contracts for Verus Research where she leads the contracts team in the capture and administration of research contracts, ensuring that contracts and contracting procedures support business strategies and fulfill customer requirements.

Catherine has worked with many government agencies, including the Department of Defense, Air Force, Army, Navy, Defense Threat Reduction Agency, and Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency; the Department of Energy (DOE) and the national laboratories; the General Services Administration, the National Institutes of Health; the National Science Foundation; and numerous academic institutions.  She has broad experience in cradle to grave administration of cost-type and firm fixed price federal research and development contracts, grants, and Other Transaction Authorities.  Before joining Verus Research, she held positions supporting federal research and development efforts at the MITRE Corporation, Qinetiq North America, The Mind Research Network, the Schafer Corporation, and Applied Research Associates.

In the community, Catherine is an active member of National Contract Management Association (NCMA).  She has served in multiple leadership roles in the NCMA Rio Grande Chapter and held volunteer positions on national-level NCMA committees.

Catherine received a bachelor’s degree in English from San Diego State University.  She is a graduate of the NCMA Contract Management Leadership Development Program and is a NCMA-certified Federal Contracts Manager.
