Software Developer

Verus Research is searching for a Software Developer to provide scientific programming support.

The Software Developer will support the creation and maintenance of graphical user interfaces (GUIs) with data visualization in the Unity cross-platform game engine. These GUIs will include interfaces to scientific simulation software through visualization in Unity.  Experience with computer-aided design (CAD) or meshing software such as Maya is a plus.  This work will require developing and updating software using software development and version control tools, including Unity, Visual Studio, CMake, and Git.  This posting is for work in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Verus Research develops a range of high-power electromagnetic and plasma technologies.  In many cases, customer specifications require adapting or advancing the state of the art in component and system technologies.  The primary role for the Electrical-Electronics Technician will be the assembly and testing of circuits for high-power electromagnetic and plasma systems.  The successful candidate will also perform project planning and assist in the development of detailed electrical and electronics designs, including bills of materials.  This posting is for work in Albuquerque, NM.
