Christian W. Taylor is the Director of Systems Engineering & Development for Verus Research. In this role, he leads a large team of diverse engineering specialties in building comprehensive system capabilities tailored to custom needs within systems integration, high-power microwave hardware development, antenna research and development, plasma physics, and weapon system controls.

Before joining Verus Research, Christian served as a mechanical engineer, systems engineer, and project manager at Boeing Defense, Space & Security, and Spectrolab (a Boeing subsidiary). In these roles, Christian worked on a wide array of programs focused on integration, test, and delivery of military aircraft and space photovoltaics.

Christian holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Washington State University, as well as professional certificates in systems engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and programmable logic controller programming from Rockwell Automation.
