Sean Weaver is a procurement and supply chain leader based in Albuquerque, New Mexico, with more than 15 years of experience supporting technically complex and highly regulated environments, including aerospace, defense, and research and development programs. As Director of Procurement at Verus Research, he leads the company’s procurement function in support of its technical programs.
Since joining Verus Research in 2021, Sean has been responsible for sourcing, supplier management, and procurement compliance. He ensures alignment with contractor purchasing system requirements and supports program execution across the organization.
Prior to Verus Research, Sean supported production operations through procurement, supplier coordination, and planning activities. He began his career in a machine shop, working at the intersection of production and procurement, where he developed a hands-on understanding of how materials, supplier performance, and scheduling decisions directly impact build execution.
Sean holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of New Mexico and is an APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP).
