The ideal candidate for the C++ Software Engineer role will have a good foundation in software development, software architecture, and testing. We work in multi-disciplinary teams of engineers, scientists, and software developers. The ideal candidate will posses excellent software skills mixed with curiosity and a proven ability to learn new and complex, as well as be able to communicate well both in writing and in person. Some background in science or engineering is a plus.
Success in this demanding position will stem from:
• U.S. Citizen
• Bachelor’s degree(s) in computer science, physics, math, or an engineering discipline
• 4+ years’ experience writing C++ and/or Python to create real software solutions
• Experience in version control in a Git environment
• Experience in user interface development
• Experience with GitLab continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD) or other pipelines desired
