Verus Research is searching for a Human Resources Specialist to join our dynamic team. The Human Resources Specialist will be responsible for the administration of enterprise-wide comprehensive Benefits, HRIS employee records, and supporting Recruitment efforts. This role will play a critical part in the execution of successful HR initiatives that support the employee life cycle.
The ideal candidate for the Human Resources Specialist role will possess a strong mix of interpersonal communication skills, analytical abilities, and the flexibility & willingness to learn new systems and processes. A crucial element of this role is the ability to leverage experience in Benefits, HRIS, and Recruitment seamlessly to provide the best experience for our employees and leaders. This position is for work on site in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and reports to the Human Resources Director.
Success in this demanding role will stem from:
- U.S. Citizenship
- At least 3 years of HR Specialist experience in the areas mentioned
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, or other relevant discipline – may substitute related experience for degree
- Demonstrated experience with Employee Benefit program administration and Recruitment
- Proven record of maintaining timely and accurate HRIS records/products, reports, internal controls, external vendor partnerships & systems, and compliance with any applicable laws and requirements
- Attention to detail and analysis skills are essential
