Verus® Research, an Albuquerque-based research and development company and wholly owned subsidiary of Alabama-based Radiance Technologies, announces the award of a 5-year, $100 million contract to support the Air Force Research Laboratory at Kirtland Air Force Base.

EVR-CLEAR (Evolving Requirements for Customer-funded Laser Effects & Analysis Research) will be centered on laser effects and analysis research. Verus Research will provide technical expertise to enhance the development of both test and data analysis capabilities.

This contract was a competitive acquisition, and two offers were received. “EVR-CLEAR is the first major laser directed energy contract won by Verus Research, expanding the set of technologies to which we apply our values of creativity and interdisciplinary innovation,” commented Dr. Matt Domonkos, Verus Research chief technology officer.
